NATO destroys two military command structures in Libya.

NATO warplanes in the last 24 hours destroyed

two command and control structures, two surface-to-air missile launcher and

one anti-aircraft gun near Tripoli.

Moreover, a NATO update Sunday noted that the following military assets of

the pro-Gaddafi regime were also hit and destroyed, in the vicinity of Brega:

1 military storage facility, 1 multiple rocket-launcher, 1 command and control

node, 1 armored vehicle, in the vicinity of Al Khum: 1 military storage

facility, in the vicinity of Zintan: 1 artillery piece, in the vicinity of

Zlitan: 4 military storage facilities, 1 tank.

Since the beginning of the NATO operation in Libya on 31 March NATO planes

have flown a total of 16,281 sorties, including 6,142 strike sorties.
