NATIONSBANK TO HOLD FORUM FOR LAW FIRMS
 OWNED BY MINORITIES AND WOMEN
NationsBank will hold a forum for law firms owned by minorities and women from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, in Auditoriums A and B of the NationsBank Plaza at 600 Peachtree St.
The forum, titled "Legal Opportunities at NationsBank," will provide information to law firms owned by minorities and women about the legal needs of NationsBank. If the attorneys have skills that fit the company's needs, NationsBank will consider hiring the individual or the law firm. NationsBank has adopted a policy calling for the hiring of minority- and women-owned firms for a certain share of the company's legal work.
"NationsBank wants to expand its business relationships with minority and women attorneys," said Dana Hemphill, Georgia coordinator for Minority/Small Business Development at NationsBank. "We have a need for legal expertise for many of our businesses, and we hope the legal community can help us meet those needs."
Eleven NationsBank speakers will address the forum on businesses such as mortgage lending, commercial lending and trust services. People interested in attending the forum or who need more information should call Dana Hemphill at 404-607-6166.
