NATIONSBANK OF GEORGIA ELECTS THREE NEW BOARD MEMBERS

 ATLANTA, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Three new members have been elected to the NationsBank of Georgia board of directors.
 They are Neil H. Hightower, president and chief executive officer of Thomaston Mills, Inc., Thomaston, Ga.; Jerry Satrum, president and chief executive officer of Georgia Gulf Corporation, which is based in Atlanta; and Douglas B. Mitchell, chairman and chief executive officer of Peachtree City Development Corporation, Peachtree City, Ga.
 "The addition of these three executives significantly strengthens the company's Georgia board of directors," said James R. Lientz Jr., president of NationsBank of Georgia.
 Hightower also serves as a member of the American Textile Manufacturers Institute's board of directors and is on its executive committee. He is also a trustee of Community Enterprises, Inc., which is Thomaston Mills' charitable foundation, and is a member of the Georgia Tech Advisory Board and the Emory University Board of Visitors.
 Satrum is on the board of directors of the Chemical Manufacturers Association. He also serves as a member of the board of directors of St. Joseph's Health System and the Center for the Visually Impaired Foundation, both in Atlanta.
 Mitchell also serves on the board of directors of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Rabun Gap Nacochee School Board of Trustees.
