NATIONSBANK FLORIDA NAMES H. MICHAEL DYE TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- H. Michael Dye has been named to the Board of Directors of NationsBank Florida. R. Eugene Taylor, President of NationsBank Florida, made the announcement Monday.
 "The quality of leadership we have on our Florida board matches the tremendous scope and market presence NationsBank enjoys," Taylor said. "We are pleased to have Mike Dye as our newest board member and welcome him as a member of our Audit Committee as well as our Board of Directors."
 Dye is the President and COO of Post, Buckley, Schuh & Jernigan, Inc., in Miami. His responsibilities include presiding over 44 offices in 12 states and Puerto Rico as well as in Mexico, The Philippines, Poland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, The Czech Republic and Venezuela. The company conducts business through four service lines: Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering/Building Services and Construction Management.
 He is responsible for direction and business planning and development efforts, marketing, human resources, management information, companywide administration, finance and accounting. He is a member of the executive committee of the Board of Directors and serves as executive vice president of the firm's parent company, The PBSJ Corporation.
 A graduate of The University of Charleston, Dye earned a master's degree in public administration from Florida State. He is past chairman of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Florida Chamber Workers' Compensation Board.
 Dye is on the executive committee for Floridians for Better Transportation, serves on the advisory council for the Center for Transportation at Florida TaxWatch and on the advisory board of St. Thomas University.
 Dye's first NationsBank board meeting will be Friday, Oct. 29. He joins Florida board members: Willard A. Alexander, chairman, NationsBank Secured Lending Group, Atlanta; Hugh M. Chapman, chairman, NationsBank South, Atlanta; A.L. Ellis, senior chairman, NationsBank Florida, Tarpon Springs.
