All works in the collection have been catalogued according to international auction and museum standards. Guests will receive a 97-page, fully documented catalogue compliments of Park West. The suburban Detroit gallery is America's foremost fine art touring auction company, established in 1969.
The auctions will offer paintings and watercolors, original "old master" prints, signed and numbered original lithographs, etchings, engravings and serigraphs.
Featured artists include Agam, Altman, Alvar, Chagall, Dali, Durer, Erte, Fanch, Goya, Miro, Mouly, Picasso, Picot, Rembrandt, Renoir, Tarkay, Vasarely, Wolfson and numerous other internationally recognized artists.
A highlight of the auctions will be more than 25 works by Graciela Rodo Boulanger, recognized as one of the living masters of Latin American art. This collection touches on every phase of Boulanger's long and illustrious career.
"This year has the outlook of being one of the richest opportunities for collectors that has occurred in the past 20 years," said Park West Gallery President Albert Scaglione. "I have found artists, dealers and collectors -- both institutional and private -- very receptive to selling their works at a Park West auction. Considered the way to buy art in the '90s, this auction promises to be a highlight of the art season."
Bidding on most lots is expected to be between $100-$5,000 with some bringing more. The entire collection has been appraised at $1,230,000. Credit up to $50,000 is available with interest-free financing. Paid sales tax is also available.
