NATIONALLY KNOWN PARK WEST GALLERY TO HOST PUBLIC AUCTION OF FINE ART IN CAMBRIDGE, MASS.
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The auctioneer's hammer will fall Sunday, May 9, and Monday, May 10, when Park West Gallery, of Southfield, offers more than 300 custom-framed original works for bid at a fine art auction open to the public. The auction will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 9, and 8 p.m. Monday, May 10, and will be held at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, JFK Ballroom, 575 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, Mass. All works in the collection have been catalogued according to international auction and museum standards. Guests will receive a 97-page, fully documented catalogue compliments of Park West. The suburban Detroit gallery is America's foremost fine art touring auction company, established in 1969. The auction will offer paintings and watercolors, original "old master" prints, signed and numbered original lithographs, etchings, engravings and serigraphs. Featured artists include Agam, Altman, Alvar, Chagall, Dali, Durer, Erte, Fanch, Goya, Miro, Mouly, Picasso, Picot, Rembrandt, Renoir, Tarkay, Vasarely, Wolfson and numerous other internationally recognized artists. A highlight of the auction will be more than 25 works by Graciela Rodo Boulanger, recognized as one of the living masters of Latin American art. This collection touches on every phase of Boulanger's long and illustrious career.
