NATIONAL TIRE SERVICES ANNOUNCES PIMA COUNTY CONTRACT

 MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- National Tire Services, Inc. (NTS), an environmental waste tire services company engaged in the abatement, collection and recycling of used tires, announced today that its has been given notice to proceed to perform tire removal and recycling services contract for all waste tires generated in both incorporated and unincorporated areas of Pima County, Ariz. Pima County has the right to extend the contract up to five years.
 Trygve Bakkom, CEO, stated the revenue from this contract through its full term will be approximately $3.75 million and also affords NTS a basis for further growth in the southwestern United States to include California, New Mexico and Nevada.
 NTS will begin servicing the contract on Nov. 1, 1993. The company now operates collection, transportation and processing facilities for whole tires in 10 states.
