NATIONAL TIRE SERVICES ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF GEORGIA COMPANIES

CHICAGO, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- National Tire Services, Inc., (NTS), an environmental waste tire services company, announced the acquisition of two affiliated Georgia companies; V and Y Tire, Inc., a waste tire collection and recycling firm, and McDuffle Resources, Inc., a State of Georgia permitted waste tire monofill, both located in Thomson, Ga.
V and Y Tire, Inc., provides waste tire collection and recycling services for over 500,000 tires annually in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. McDuffle Resources, Inc., one of the few permitted tire monofills in the country, has the capacity to receive in excess of 30,000 tons of non-processable waste tires.
These acquisitions afford NTS a basis for further growth in the southeast and allow the company the expanded capability to provide disposal services for generators of agricultural, industrial, and construction equipment waste tires that cannot be economically processed or recycled.
The company now operates in 12 states providing collection, transportation, processing, recycling and disposal services for over 6,000,000 tires annually.
