 NATIONAL MEDIA ANNOUNCES MAJOR RESTRUCTURING OF ITS MANAGEMENT
 STAFF WITH APPOINTMENT OF THREE SENIOR EXECUTIVES
 PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- National Media Corporation (NYSE: NM) announced today a major restructuring of its management staff with the appointment of three senior executives.
 Mark P. Hershhorn has been named president and chief operating officer of National Media, succeeding John J. Turchi Jr. who continues as chairman and chief executive officer. David J. Carman will be president and chief executive officer of Quantum Television Marketing Ltd., the international subsidiary of National Media Corporation and Willner Park will be director of program development for National Media.
 "The addition of these three executives with such a wealth of expertise in the management of direct marketing programs should greatly accelerate National Media's recognition as a premier international marketing company capitalizing on the power of television to merchandise a wide variety of products with efficiency and economy," Turchi said.
 Hershhorn, 42, joins National Media from Nutri/System, Inc. where he was senior vice president for worldwide food operations and joint ventures. He was previously a director, vice president and chief financial officer of The Franklin Mint and has also held executive positions with Carter Wallace and Pfizer, Inc. Hershhorn is a graduate of Rutgers University and Wharton Graduate School of Business.
 Carman, 41, who will be based in London, was previously a vice president of The Franklin Mint in charge of European operations and indirectly responsible for the Central and South Pacific regions where he was previously directly in charge. A native of Australia, Carman is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and has broad experience in the retail business in Australia.
 Park, 45, was director of program development for the QVC Network responsible for joint marketing programs. Before joining QVC, he was with Merrill Lynch & Co. as manager of marketing strategy for its Direct Marketing Business Unit and was vice president of Wunderman Worldwide, a leading direct marketing advertising agency. Park is a graduate of Princeton University.
