NATIONAL MEDIA AND CALIFORNIA PRODUCTION GROUP SIGN PRODUCTION AGREEMENT
 PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- National Media Corporation (NYSE: NM) announced today that it has entered into a three-year contract with California Production Group (CAPG) whereby CAPG will produce infomercials and spot advertisements for National Media.
 Under the agreement, each of the parties will seek to identify products suitable for joint development, with the objective of producing at least eight programs per year. The agreement also recognizes CAPG's successful track record with National Media in the area of personal health and fitness products. Recently, CAPG has produced two highly successful infomercials for National Media in the fitness category, the Super Step Stairclimber and the Stairclimber Plus total body workout system.
 Commenting on the agreement with CAPG, John J. Turchi Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of National Media, said, "We are very pleased to have cemented this relationship with CAPG. Jack Kirby and Jim Warren are first-rate producers, and they are fully committed to our partnership. The work they have done for us thus far has been top- notch, and has demonstrated their expertise in working with fitness products. We look forward to continuing success with the CAPG group."
