NATIONAL HOME HEALTH CARE REPORTS RESULTS

YONKERS, N.Y., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- National Home Health Care Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS: NHHC) today announced that net income for the three months ended April 30, 1993, was approximately $385,000 or $.08 per share, as compared to a net income of approximately $462,000 or $.10 per share for the three months ended April 30, 1992.
Revenues for the quarter ended April 30, 1993, were approximately $6,743,000 as compared to $5,513,000 for the quarter ended April 30, 1992. The increase in revenue was primarily attributable to the increase in patient fee income of Health Acquisition Corp., the company's largest subsidiary, which provides comprehensive home health care services.
Net income declined due to smaller operating margins within the company and additional expenses relating to the start-up of home infusion and skilled nursing services. Net income for the nine months ended April 30, 1993, was approximately $1,132,000 or $.24 per share, as compared to a net income of approximately $1,418,000 or $.30 per share for the nine months ended April 30, 1992. Revenues for the nine months ended April 30, 1993, were approximately $19,715,000 as compared to $16,097,000 for the corresponding period of 1992.
