NATIONAL DATACOMPUTER, INC. REPORTS

 BILLERICA, Mass., May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Gerald S. Eilberg, chief financial officer of National Datacomputer, Inc. (NDIC) today announced the results of its first quarter ended March 31, 1993.
 Eilberg reported that revenues for the quarter were $1,194,129, up 64 percent from the same period in 1992.
 Net profit for the quarter was $53,519 as compared to a net loss of $161,376, in the first quarter of 1992.
 Earnings per share figures for all periods were above $0.0.
 Eilberg said that "In the last four quarters NDIC has earned over $225,000, as compared to a loss of over $500,000 for the four quarters preceding these last four. We are committed to a continuing program of strengthening our organization, especially in sales, customer support and R&D. However, we will invest in our organization only out of profits."
 Norman Mackinnon, president of NDIC commented that "Our progress will continue as long as we continue to meet the hardware and software solutions needs of the marketplaces that we are addressing. Our recent track record shows that we have been successful in product development and I am confident this will not change. Combined with the expansion of our sales coverage in the coming months, we have reason for optimism."
 National Datacomputer, Inc. designs, manufactures, markets and services rugged, programmable handheld computers, data collection devices and peripherals. NDIC is also a leading developer of software solutions, such as its Route Service System, for people who need the power of a PC in the field, rather than at their desk. The company's shares are traded over-the-counter.
