NATIONAL CITY TRUST COMPANY, IN FLORIDA, ELECTS ELLEN J. ABRAMS TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 CLEVELAND, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- National City Corporation (NYSE: NCC) announced today the election of Ellen J. Abrams to the board of directors of National City Trust Company, its Florida trust subsidiary.
 Abrams is vice president and senior trust officer at National City Trust Company. She is the chief account administrative officer of the company, with responsibilities also in business development and customer financial planning.
 Abrams is a graduate of Wellesley College (Phi Beta Kappa) and the Yale Law School. She is a member of the Florida Bar and serves as manager of the West Palm Beach office. She is also a member of the Professional Advisory Subcommittee of the Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County and serves as co-chairman of the Liaison with Corporate Fiduciaries Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar.
