NATIONAL AIRMOTIVE CORPORATION OBTAINS NEW LINE OF CREDIT
LA JOLLA, Calif., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Intermark Inc. (AMEX: IMI) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary National Airmotive Corporation had obtained a $30 million line of credit extended by Barclay's Business Credit, Inc. The credit facility is intended to support National Airmotive's working capital needs, refinance a portion of its parent company debt, and provide financing for planned capital expenditures over the five-year term of the agreement.
National Airmotive, headquartered in Oakland, Calif., is the leading commercial franchise distributor and overhaul agency for the entire line of gas turbine engines manufactured by the Allison Gas Turbine Division of General Motors Corp., for use in the aviation, marine and industrial markets.
Commenting on the financing, John C. Stiska, president of Intermark, stated, "While at the parent level we are actively working to reduce debt, an equally important challenge is to continue to develop and add value to our partner companies. The stature of National Airmotive makes it an extremely attractive candidate for asset-based lending, and this financing arrangement will provide capital to fuel future growth at the company."
Intermark is an operating/holding company whose business is to acquire a controlling interest in, operate through and add value to well-established, successful, mid-sized American growth companies in broadly diverse industries.
