NATION'S LEADING RETAILERS AND MANUFACTURERS TO MEET
IN OAKBROOK, ILL., TO DISCUSS SOURCE TAGGING
Source tagging, the newest trend in retailing, builds paper-thin, disposable security targets into products or their packaging before they reach the retail level.
The purpose of source tagging is to increase sales and curtail shoplifting losses. Retailers, representing $160 billion in retail sales, and leading manufacturers and packagers will present their experiences with source tagging at Checkpoint Systems' (NASDAQ: CHEK) 1992 EAM Horizons Conference:
 Date: Wednesday, June 3
 Time: 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Place: Oakbrook Hills Conference Center, Oakbrook, Ill.
The meeting will include: technology demonstrations, retail activity reviews (presented by such retailers as Target Stores), packaging for source tagging, A.C. Nielsen's source tagging test plan, and Retail Planning Associates "Store of the Future," which will depict source tagging's impact on store layout, design and profitability.
On the evening of Tuesday, June 2, retired Gen. Alexander Haig will be the guest speaker at a dinner for all conference attendees. For more information or to reserve a place at the dinner,
