 NATEC RESOURCES TO PROVIDE DRY SODIUM INJECTION SYSTEMS
 FOR WISCONSIN ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY
 HOUSTON, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- NaTec Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: NATC) today announced the award of a turnkey contract to design, furnish, install and start-up dry sodium injection (DSI) systems for Units 1 and 4 at Wisconsin Electric Power Company's Port Washington Power Plant.
 The systems will provide the flexibility to achieve various levels of SO(2) reduction, and are scheduled for start-up in April 1993 and May 1994, respectively. As previously announced, the sodium bicarbonate will be supplied, under a three-year agreement, from NaTec's solution mining and process facility located in western Colorado. This turnkey DSI technology application marks a milestone award for NaTec in the domestic utility market.
 Commenting on the award, John T. McCormack, president and chief executive officer, stated, "We are extremely pleased to provide this turnkey package to Wisconsin Electric in support of its SO(2) compliance strategy at Port Washington. Their renovation program at this station is a showcase project worthy of broad interest in the utility industry."
 NaTec Resources is committed to the control of pollutants commonly associated with acid rain. The company provides consulting engineering, injection system installation, operations and maintenance services, and processed sorbent supply. Primary markets are utility, industrial power generation, pulp and paper, refining and municipal solid waste.
