NATASHA LISMAN NAMED TO NEW ENGLAND COUNCIL'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 BOSTON, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Natasha Lisman, senior partner at the Boston law firm of Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen has been appointed to the New England Council's board of directors. Lisman was selected to join the governing panel of the nation's oldest regional business organization at the Council's annual legislative conference recently held in Washington, D.C.
 In announcing Lisman's selection, Council President Peter Meade said, "Natasha is a valued addition to our board of directors. Her public policy experience and standing in the legal community will greatly enhance our efforts to revive the region's economy."
 Lisman, a resident of Brookline, Mass., is a former member of the Massachusetts Privacy and Security Council. She has served as president of the Massachusetts Civil Liberties Union and the board of editors of the Boston Bar Journal. She is a graduate of Brandeis University and Boston University's School of Law.
 The New England Council, with offices in Boston and Washington, D.C., promotes federal legislation and policies that benefit the economy of the six state region.
