NAMA Recognizes the Best in the Industry

NAMA continues to recognize the best in Agribusiness. During the 2003 Agri-Marketing Conference and Trade Show, April 15-17 in San Diego, NAMA will gather the industry and award these agribusiness honors. If you know someone that should be nominated, please read the nomination information below.

Agribusiness Leader of the Year

The Agribusiness Leader of the Year award recognizes leadership achievement in agriculture and the food and fiber industry.

Objective

The Agribusiness Leader of the Year award is NAMA's highest honor. The award honors an outstanding leader in agribusiness, education, government service or other agribusiness related area. Solicited from senior level position holders in private, public or academic service, nominees should exemplify excellence in agribusiness by their significant contributions to the industry.

Eligibility

Individuals must demonstrate leadership and innovation at the most senior level. This award goes to the person leading the charge of his/her company, institution or organization. Nominee exemplifies the qualities of a true leader and is a visionary, a pacesetter, and a colleague with business know how. This nominee has led the company/institution/ organization during the past 12 months. In addition, nominees should be considered leaders in agribusiness through service to organization and industry initiatives.

NAMA Markets of the Year

NAMA recognizes its active members with senior management of marketing and/or sales responsibilities with the NAMA Marketer of the Year award. This award is the most prestigious honor awarded to an active member of the association and designed to honor outstanding accomplishments in the field of agri-marketing.

Objective

The award honors outstanding accomplishments in the field of marketing directly to ag producers. Nominees are solicited from agribusiness and related companies with overall marketing and/or sales responsibilities.

Eligibility

Individuals should possess overall responsibility for marketing and/or sales of their company or organization and be directly associated with a company or firm marketing product(s)/service(s) to farmers or ranchers.
