 NADA WASHINGTON CONFERENCE TO ADDRESS KEY AUTO INDUSTRY ISSUES
 The National Automobile Dealers Association will hold its 1992 Washington Conference Sept. 15-16 at the Capital Hilton at 16th and K streets N.W., Washington.
 The annual legislative symposium allows officers and board members as well as more than 400 delegate executives, representing state and metropolitan dealer associations, to receive timely, in-depth briefings on current issues affecting the U.S. retail auto industry from national political leaders and from NADA executives. Delegates will also visit their respective senators and representatives on Capitol Hill.
 Speakers at the 1992 conference include Sen. Bob Packwood (R-Ore.); Sen. Peter V. Domenici (R-N.M.); Hugh Sidey, Time magazine columnist; Lyn Nofziger, longtime political advisor to Ronald Reagan; economist Dr. Barry Asmus of the National Center for Policy Analysis; NADA President Richard Strauss; and others.
 The National Automobile Dealers Association represents more than 19,000 franchised new car and truck dealers holding 35,000 separate franchises, domestic and import.
 NOTE: Conference sessions will be open to the media with the exception of the Tuesday morning Issues Panel from 9:40-10:45 a.m.
