NAA welcomes the Northeast Ohio Apartment Association.

The Northeast Ohio Apartment Association (NOAA) has affiliated with the National Apartment Association. Its charter was approved by the NAA Board of Directors at the 2016 NAA Education Conference & Exposition held in June in San Francisco.

"Bringing on board a Cleveland-based affiliate to the NAA network has been a strategic goal for NAA," says NAA President and CEO Doug Culkin, CAE. "This affiliation brings together two very powerful associations; one that is a major force in Northeast Ohio and in the state, and NAA."

NOAA, based in Cleveland and founded in 1927, includes 376 members and represents 94,563 apartment homes. It comprises 183 industry members and 193 suppliers.

"Joining NAA sets us off on a new direction and exposes us to a larger world than I've experienced in my job in the last 20 years," says NOAA Executive Vice President Ralph McGreevy. "It was a decision made in a team environment, with a lot of the people kicking the tires. We looked around and decided, if we're going to do it, now is a good time, let's try it."
