N-able launches N-gage IT Service Management scorecard.
The N-gage IT Service Management Scorecard provides organizations with the ability to align IT operations with corporate objectives, enabling business and technology stakeholders to prioritize resource and budget allocation. N-gage is derived from the IT Service Management (ITSM) standards of the IT Infrastructure Library, the globally recognized "defacto" quality standard for IT service management.
"Technology is the number two budget item in most organizations, yet the least understood, which has created an expectation gap between business and technology stakeholders," stated Mark Scott, CEO of N-able. "N-gage provides insight into the business value of IT to allow organizations to make decisions based on facts rather than conjecture."
N-able's award-winning N-central service management reporting provides real-time information to N-gage to create and track a continuous improvement program to align IT with business. Areas of improvement identified by N-gage can be tracked and presented to management in intuitive reports designed with quantifiable IT metrics.
"The downturn in the technology sector has created an unprecedented need for companies to make the technology they have work better," stated Scott. "Our TI solutions provide our partners with the ability to improve existing service arrangements through the active process of measuring, managing, reporting and predicting IT resource allocation and performance."
N-gage is available exclusively through N-able's network of channel partners, consisting of system integrators and VARs across North America. The N-able Partner Certification program includes Web-based business and technical training on how to market, sell and support the product and also provides guidelines for implementing the N-able ITSM Assessment using N-gage.
N-able Technologies provides availability and performance management solutions that are designed specifically for IT service organizations. Our award-winning N-central network and systems management platform provides availability, performance reporting, and service level management. The service organizations we target include system integrators that provide outsourced support for multi-client IT infrastructures, and enterprise IT departments that provide remote management for multiple office locations. N-central is distributed through a channel-only strategy with a partner network that spans North America. Through Technology Intelligence, N-able provides insight into IT, the number-two budget item, to quantify the impact of IT operations on the return on investment (ROI) for both business and technology stakeholders.
