Myri-10G 10GbE network adapter cards complete Thunderbolt Technology compliance testing with Sonnet.
Ethernet solutions provider Myricom announced on Tuesday that it has completed Thunderbolt Technology compliance testing for its Myri-10G 10GbE network adapter cards with Sonnet Technologies Inc, a provider of storage systems, media readers and Thunderbolt technology PCIe expansion products.
No financial details were disclosed.
According to the company, the successful completion of the Thunderbolt Technology compliance testing means that Sonnet's customers can install systems with Myricom high-performance 10GbE adapters with confidence that they are compatible not only with Sonnet's family of Thunderbolt products, but also with other products.
The company's 10GbE network adapters enable Sonnet's products to deliver high performance with Thunderbolt and allow users to connect high-performance expansion cards to their computers without expansion slots.
