22 September 2010 - US Mylan Inc (NASDAQ: MYL) said yesterday it has received a temporary restraining order from the US District Court for the District of New Jersey that prohibits Apotex from selling and/or importing all three strengths of a generic version of GlaxoSmithKline's (LON: GSK) Paxil CR, Paroxetine Hydrochloride (HCl) Extended-release (ER) Tablets, 12.5 mg, 25 mg and 37.5 mg.
The order also prohibits GlaxoSmithKline from supplying Apotex with a generic version of the product.
The order was entered yesterday, and the court has scheduled further hearings on the matter for 18 October. Mylan further said it is currently selling all three strengths of Paroxetine HCl ER.
