My favorite golf memory.

Byline: The Register-Guard

Steve Thorwald, La Verne, Calif.: In the 1970s at Springfield CC, I was paired with the late Keith Gubrud, Mike Marcum and Kerry Johnston. It was one of those magical days on the links where we all played well and fed off each other's good shots. Keith shot 66, Mike and I each shot 69 and Kerry 71. The memory is as fresh today as the day it happened.
