My celebrity date with TOWIE's Chloe Sims was a total disaster.
A NORTH Wales man who starred on Thursday night's episode of Celebs Go Dating reveals exclusively how he really feels about the experience.
Chris Parry, 38, from Mold, was recruited onto the Channel 4 show after being spotted by scouts on Instagram.
The dad-of-one was told by the on-screen agency he was the "perfect match" for 35-year old TOWIE bombshell Chloe Sims.
However the encounter led to a disastrous double-date with the reality star - who said on the show: "What's Mold? I've literally never heard of that in my life."
Speaking to the Daily Post, former Mold Alun Chris has opened up about the experience and his thoughts on his sharp tongued date.
"The less people have seen of it [the programme] the better," he said.
"It wasn't great. They were not kind. Am I seeing her again? No, God no. I didn't like her at all."
"On paper she was my type. I appreciate it was a double date so I didn't get to know her very well, but what I did see we had absolutely nothing in common at all.
"When I found out I was going to go on a date with her I was made up. She's my age, she's got a daughter, she was, I thought, attractive.
"But I met her and I didn't like her at all. There was absolutely no substance to her whatsoever to back it up. She took herself way too seriously.
"Sounds awful, I'd seen her Instagram and I thought yes. But in reality... no.
Those who watched the programme saw Chris ask Chloe at one point if she was interested in having another date with him The footage then immediately cuts to a prerecorded interview with Chloe where she commented on that incident.
Speaking to the camera, Chloe said: "Is this guy for real? Why would you ask that so blatantly? This is just awkward for everyone, most of all him."
Referring to that moment, Chris told the Daily Post: "The editing made it look like I was pleading for a second date, but I really wasn't."
"The things I said, they edited to make it look like i was more full-on.
"People always ask me why I'm still single. But with work, modelling and my daughter, I don't get much free time to meet people.
"My agent is G Models and I usually get catalogue stuff and fashion, but I'm an ambassador for Pura Clothing in Mold. "In reality though, what I look for in a woman is someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously."
