My Last Supper with Annabelle Dowler.

ACTRESS Annabelle Dowler has been a regular on The Archers as Kirsty Miller for six years, but she's also becoming a familiar face on the city stage.

The Formby girl, who last year starred in The Flint Street Nativity as Wise Man Gold, returns in the role when it, too, comes back to the Playhouse Theatre this year.

Annabelle is a big food fan.

And when it comes to her Last Supper, she says there's no place like home.

Says Annabelle: "If I was having my Last Supper at my mum and dad's in Formby the main course would have to be my mum's roast Beef with Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, parsnips and all the trimmings."

However if the world were her oyster...

"If I could choose anywhere it would probably be a beach in Southern Spain near Cadiz.

"My boyfriend is Spanish and I once lived in Spain so I am a big fan of tapas and I love eating outside."

She adds: "I particularly love seafood and so would have a big platter of langoustines, prawns, clams and mussels for everyone to share for the starter.

"For my main, I'd like a medium rare steak with grilled tomatoes and salad."

For pudding Annabelle would have a very thick, rich chocolate mousse followed by cheese and biscuits: "I absolutely love cheese and wine so a selection of strong Brie, French Vacherin and Spanish Manchego would be nice!

"I'd have to have a cold beer to start with on the beach and then a nice bottle of Spanish red, Ribera del Duero, with the meal.

"I'd have to have my last supper with my boyfriend, my sisters, mum and dad, and some of my best friends.

"I love dinners with lots of people around the table. It would be great if Michael Buble and Stevie Wonder could come and sing during the meal and afterwards we could move the tablestoonesideand havea good dance!"
