My 'thing' with Harry taught me think THEN tweet; EMILY ATACK ON 1D AND HER NEW MOVIE; EXCLUSIVE.

Byline: Richard Barber

DATING One Direction's Harry Styles taught TV beauty Emily Atack a useful lesson - if you go out with boyband stars, don't tweet about it.

The Inbetweeners actress is still licking her wounds after an online savaging by angry Styles fans, each one outraged to find he is not saving himself just for her.

"I learned that, with Twitter, you maybe have to think before you tweet," Emily, 24, admitted. And with a twinkle in her eye, she added: "I've made up my mind never to say anything about Harry again."

Not that she had planned to discuss the 20-year-old pop idol. We met so Emily could talk about Almost Married, her new film which opens this Friday. It's easy to see why Styles was attracted to the girl who played Charlotte in The Inbetweeners - and his Directioner fans were jealous.

The honey-coloured hair falls halfway down her back, the blue eyes sparkle, the hourglass figure is in a skintight blue-checked dress. And she's a laugh.

But when the subject of Harry came up, she blushed and wailed: "I just can't talk about it. I'm a natural blabbermouth and it always gets me into trouble." She first spotted Harry when he popped up on The X Factor in 2010. On her Twitter page at the time, she wrote: "Does Harry from One Direction HAVE to be 16?!

"Let's pretend he's 18 at least! Then there'd be only One Direction he'd be going - to the bedroom!" The interest was mutual. In May 2012 it was rumoured Emily and Harry were dating, although she did not confirm it at the time.

Then last August she admitted: "Yeah, we had a short-lived thing. But we were never boyfriend and girlfriend.

"Harry and I had fun, then went in opposite directions. We haven't spoken in a while."

Now Harry is just a fling of the past and Emily is in relationship with male model Jack Vacher, 20. When she first clapped eyes on him he was 18 and working in a shop near the Bedfordshire home she shares with her younger sister Martha.

They have been together for 18 months but laughing Emily admitted she chased Jack. She recalled: "I started talking to him and got his phone number. Then I sort of stalked him.

"He's lovely, the sweetest person in the world. We get on well and make each other laugh. I don't have a bad word to say about him."

"He's a free spirit, lik me. He understands that I might be away filming. But he's off to Japan on modelling assignments soon."

Professionally, Emily continues to be much in demand. Apart from Dancing On Ice in 2010 and Channel 4's The Inbetweeners, she has made three films back-to-back.

A spoof zombie movie, Ibiza Undead, is out in the autumn, followed by The Hoarder, a psychological thriller with Mischa Barton.

But first comes Almost Married. a dark romcom. Emily plays Lydia, who is engaged to Kyle (Philip McGinley). On his stag night, he catches an embarrassing disease in a brothel and is banned from sex for three months, But he is due to wed Lydia soon.. Kyle turns to pal Jarvis (Mark Stobbart) for help.

Emily, whose mum is actress and singer Kate Robbins, spends much of the movie wearing very little.

She giggles. "I'm getting used to that. A lot of parts I've played required me to get nearly naked and snog boys. What a horrible job!

"You kind of forget you're standing there in your pants."

Emily's comedy hero is Friends star Jennifer Aniston. She said: "I love her timing. Fit and funny, that's what I'm aiming for." Many would say she's already cracked it.
