Mutu Gading to invest Rp 1 trillion.

PT Mutu Gading Tekstil plans to build a new factory in Subang, West Java, to produce polyester synthetic fiber, nylon and yarns. The project will cost around Rp1 trillion. Secretary General of the Indonesian association of synthetic fiber producers (Apsyfi) Redma Gitawirawasta said "Mutu Gading will produce chips to be melted into yarns and fiber. Redma said the company will build a factory with a bigger capacity to meet growing demand for yarns and fiber both on the domestic and international markets. Mutu Gading is a producer of filament and polyester synthetic fiber. The company has expanded rapidly with a production capacity of around 3,000 tons of polyester fiber per month. The company has been granted the ISO 9001-2008 certificate. The company which came on line in 1997 is one of the largest polyester fiber producers in the country. The company exports more than 60% of its production. It has exported the synthetic fiber to various regions and countries such as Europe, Middle East, Australia, South America and South Africa. Its polyester fiber and filament are used by garment and household furniture producers, automotive companies carpet makers, etc.
