Mutch and Mason given a Development run-out at Palace.

JORDON Mutch, and Joe Mason are both in Cardiff City's Premier Development League team for their match at Crystal Palace tonight (6.30pm).

Both are in need of match action and have been added to the Development squad by manager Malky Mackay.

Goalkeeper Simon Moore, City's PS150,000 signing from Brentford, looks certain to start.

But new signing Maxi Amondarain, an Uruguayan under-20 international, has not travelled with the Bluebirds squad and his development team debut could now come against Swansea City at home on Monday, September 16.

Manager Kevin Cooper and his young Bluebirds have made an outstanding start to their season, having scored 20 goals and conceding four.

Most of those were pre-season fixtures, but City have won 2-0 at Ipswich Town in their opening League match. Rhys Healey and Etien Velikonja were the scorers for City.

Tonight's opponents Palace are new to the Development League Southern Division this season.

The match will be played at the KNK Stadium - home to Tooting and Mitcham.
