Mustard seed tea party.

For 28 years, the Mustard Seed of Brandon has provided a Christian-based group home to mentally challenged adults. Seeking the potential that God has created within these individuals has remained a steadfast goal of the organization. This is achieved through fostering their talents by providing creative outlets such as the 18-member hand bell choir known as The Bells of Faith and art and ceramic workshops. The artwork produced by the Seedsters is available for purchase and the hand bell choir often performs for the public.

And you can share in the joy of this amazing group. The Mustard Seed Ladies Auxiliary will host its annual tea on February 20 from 2-4 p.m. at The Fairview Inn in Jackson. Tickets are $50 for adults (price includes auxiliary membership) and $35 for children. Come and enjoy a performance by The Bells of Faith, browse the silent auction items, and purchase one-of-a-kind items crafted by the residents. "It's an opportunity to meet an inspiring group of individuals and learn first-hand what a difference your involvement can make in their lives," states executive director Kit Barksdale.
