Mustafa Sultan Exchange unveils 'HDFC Bank IndiaLink'.

MUSCAT -- Mustafa Sultan Exchange has launched the fastest possible remittance service called 'HDFC Bank IndiaLink' enabling 24-hours credit to customers' accounts. The facility is presently covering more than 39,000 branches of over 110 banks in India through RTGS/NEFT platform. The service is available at all 10 branches of the company spread all across Oman. The 11th branch at Al Falaj was opened shortly.

'IndiaLink' is one of the best remittance packages that enables processing remittances with minimal manual intervention to ensure greater accuracy and speed.

The confirmation of credit through SMS to both beneficiary as well as the remitter is the unique value addition of the service being offered by Mustafa Sultan Exchange. The SMS confirmation is provided free of cost. Further details can be obtained from 24495705, 24421484, 26841219, 24706519 and 96254740.

The remitting customer needs to furnish the following information for effecting RTGS/NEFT remittance: Amount to be remitted, name of the beneficiary bank and branch, name of the beneficiary customer, core banking account number of beneficiary customer, the IFSC code of the receiving branch, if available with the customer.

Harish Engineer, executive director, HDFC Bank, Mumbai, in the presence of Akber Mustafa Sultan, MD, Mustafa Sultan Enterprises and other officials from HDFC and Mustafa Sultan Exchange, inaugurated the launch.

Engineer expressed happiness over extending the service to Mustafa Sultan Exchange managed by State Bank of India, which is one of the oldest exchange companies in Oman.

He added that 'IndiaLink' product is well tested and will successfully meet the expectations of customers.

With HDFC IndiaLink, the Company is now offering the following services: Credit to HDFC accounts within hours with a confirmatory SMS to beneficiary in India as well as remitter in Oman; Credit to the accounts of all public sector and private banks in India within 24-48 hours depending upon RTGS or NEFT transaction with an confirmatory SMS.

The company is already offering credit to SBI accounts through SBI Express within 24 hours with an SMS confirmation to the remitter; credit to State Bank of Travancore accounts within 24 hours with an SMS confirmation to the remitter.

Credit to State Bank of Hyderabad accounts within 24-48 hours; Akber thanked Engineer and other senior officers from HDFC Bank for their support. Minoo Saher, Group CEO, Sudhir Naik, Group FC, MSE and Dr. V.S. Kumar, GM, MS Exchange also spoke on the occasion. Baldev Prakash, chief manager of Ruwi Branch proposed vote of thanks to the visiting dignitaries.
