Musical Discovery encouraged through new interactive CD Rom. (Music Marketplace).
The Music Discovery Experience Interactive (MDEi) CD Rom Level 1 is now available through the Music Discovery Network (MDN) and Creative Musicians Coalition. MDEi is a media-rich, informative experience in new music discovery--like opening a record store, radio station and fun house in your home computer. It includes 677 music samples from 248 CDs and videos for a total of fifteen hours of music.
The Creative Musicians Coalition (CMC) is an association of more than 1,000 independent artists and record labels from twenty-two countries, whose purpose is to network its members toward cost-effective and efficient marketing and distribution of their musical recordings. MDN, established in 2001, is an association of individuals for the purpose of discovering and appreciating the works of independent artists, with more than 2,500 members.
Ron Wallace, founder of CMC and MDN, says, "We've been looking for a long time for a way to expose our artists' music to the masses in a fun, informative and easy way."
