Museum of murder back?

West Mercia Police is considering reopening its "black museum" of relics from gruesome crimes.

The halimbered building which housed the collection at force headquarters at Hindlip Hall, near Worcester, needed urgent repairs and forced the closure of the museum.

Now talks are taking place about a new building to house the collection, including many murder weapons, which is currently in storage.

Mr Allen Peach, a spokesman for West Mercia Police, said: "The force has advertised for a new museum curator. Archives in storage need to be maintained."
