Muscat airport wins Best Middle East Airport Award

Muscat: For the second successive year, Muscat International Airport picked up the award for Best Airport Staff Middle East at the SKYTRAX World Airports Award recently held in Vienna at the Passenger Terminal EXPO 2012.

Salim bin Awadh Al Yafey, Salalah Airport director-general, received on behalf of Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC) the Best Airport Staff in the Middle East award.

An official from OAMC said that the award underlines the care and attention of officials and staff in all governmental and private sectors working at the airport and these sectors embody an integrating and interacting role that has directly contributed toEeproviding the best services for passengers, as Muscat International Airport is at the threshold of a new stage of professionalism in aviation services when the new terminal opens, which is expected to achieve a significant move in the quality of these services and a characteristics in the Omani record of success.
