Murray's a Dutch wildcard; UPDATE.

ANDY MURRAY has accepted a late wildcard to play the ABN Amro World Tennis event in Rotterdam, Holland, next week.

Tournament director Richard Krajicek said: "This is a great addition to our already strong field."

Meanwhile, Scot Jocelyn Rae and Heather Watson lost 6-0 6-2 last night against Irina Begu and Monica Niculescu in the decisive doubles clash as GB lost 2-1 to Romania in Fed Cup qualifying.

SNOOKER: John Higgins beat England's Barry Hawkins 4-3 last night to set up a fourth-round clash with fellow Scot Stephen Maguire in the last 16 of the Gdynia Open in Poland.

INDOOR HOCKEY: Grove Menzieshill defend their indoor title today in the League One Grand Final against Inverleith. ICE HOCKEY: Dundee Stars have snapped up Canadian defenceman James Isaacs. BOWLS: Paul Foster beat fellow Scot Alex Marshall 9-8 15-3 to claim the International Open title in Blackpool. CYCLING: Glasgow's Katie Archibald has been named in the Great Britain squad for this month's World Track Championships in Colombia. DARTS: Richie George, son of two-time world championship finalist Bobby, was dumped out of the World Trophy in Blackpool last night by James Wilson.

The 24-year-old, who lost 6-3 to his fellow Englishman, said: "I didn't take my chances but fair play to James, he was brilliant."
