BEIRUT: Former politician Gabriel Murr said Tuesday that he filed a complaint accusing his son, MTV CEO Michel Gabriel Murr, of attempting to kill him.
Earlier Tuesday, Gabriel had shared pictures on his Facebook page of multiple men wearing black shirts, saying, "Michel Gabriel Murr besieges his father's office with hirelings in 'black shirts.'"
Speaking with local news channel Al-Jadeed, Gabriel said these men had also turned up outside his office two days ago as he arrived to work.
Gabriel said the complaint he filed alleged an assassination attempt, intimidation, threatening and extortion, adding that he had turned to the Public Prosecutor after the ISF had refused to address this problem.
Michel Murr could not be reached for comment.
