Murderer on the run with his brother; SEARCH.

Byline: ADAM ASPINALL

A MURDERER who killed a teacher and his arsonist brother were being hunted by police last night after failing to return to prison.

Jason Soal, 37, and his brother Steven, 26, were believed to be on the run together after breaching their licence conditions.

Jason Soal was freed in 2004 on a life licence after serving 12 years of an indefinite term for killing bachelor Aneurin Williams.

He was 17 when he and a friend battered gay Mr Williams, 63, and strangled him with a phone cord during a robbery at his bungalow.

Soal, of Caerphilly, South Wales, denied murdering retired Mr Williams but was found guilty in 1992.

Steven Soal got a 32-month jail term for arson in November, 2011, but was released early on licence.

A Gwent police spokesman said: "Officers would advise anyone who sees Jason Soal not to approach him, but to contact police immediately."
