Murder rap Scot.

A Scot appeared in court yesterday accused of a 29-year-old murder.

Arthur Jackson, 60, is charged with killing have-a-go hero Anthony Fletcher in 1967.

Aberdeen-born Jackson was extradited to Britain from the US.

Dressed in dark trousers, an open-necked shirt and V-neck jumper, he said nothing during the hearing at Horseferry Road magistrates, London.

Victim Anthony, 33, was shot dead during a bank robbery in Chelsea.

Jackson is also charged with wounding a bank worker in the raid, plus three counts of armed robbery.

No bail application was made and Jackson was remanded in custody for a week.
