Murder case arrest.
A MAN has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 52-year-old woman killed by a car thief.But detectives hunting the killer of June Everitt said they were still appealing for the culprit of the crime to come forward.
Ms Everitt was unloading shopping from her Renault Megane at garages close to her house in Luton,Beds, a week ago, when a man allegedly climbed inside, reversed and sped off,dragging her 20 yards along the ground.
A Bedfordshire Police spokeswoman said last night: ``A man in his late 20s is in custody in connection with her murder but he is just helping us with our inquiries and the investigation is still alive.''
