Murder attempt fugitive caught.
A 26-YEAR-OLD man wanted for attempted murder was arrested and sent straight to prison after armed officers swooped on an address in Kirkby yesterday afternoon. Richard Joyce had been sentenced in his absence to seven years' imprisonment for attempted murder using a firearm at Liverpool Crown Court in April this year. Officers raided the address in Ashwood Close, Tower Hill, and arrested Joyce.They also arrested two men, aged 25 and 39, and two women, aged 25 and 42, all from Kirkby, on suspicion of harbouring an offender. They were being questioned at police stations on Merseyside last night.
Following a search, police seized ecstasy and cannabis
