Murder, mystery and intrigue at the Floral.

THERE will be fireworks of a different kind at the Floral Pavilion theatre when a new thriller comes to the stage.

Ruth Rendell's multi-million copy selling novel, A Judgement in Stone, is brought to life by Bill Kenwright's Classic Thriller Theatre Company.

Starring Chris Ellison, best known as DCI Frank Burnside, in The Bill, the play also features Robert Duncan, Shirley-Anne Field, Sophie Ward, Deborah Grant, Ben Nealon, and Antony Costa, formerly of boy-band Blue.

The plot is one of deceit, despair, and cover-ups, all played out around a grisly murder on Valentine's Day.

A Judgement in Stone runs at the New Brighton theatre from Monday, November 6 to Saturday, November 11.
