Mum pays tribute to her 'blue eyed boy'.

THE MOTHER of a man whose body was found in the Stratford canal has paid tribute to her "blue-eyed boy".

Adam Lobb (below) had been living on a motor cruiser moored on the Stratford Canal near to the bridge which carries Bishopton Lane over the canal.

His body was discovered in the canal on August 6. A post mortem examination proved inconclusive and police are continuing to piece together the 28-year-old's final movements.

In a statement released via Warwickshire Police, Donna Gurney appealed to those who may have seen her son between Wednesday, August 3 and Saturday, August 6 when Adam was tragically found.

She added: "Adam was my blueeyed boy. He was polite, friendly and would talk to anyone.

"He was very helpful and made people feel welcome.

"Adam lived for nature and the natural world. He loved the outdoors.

"Adam's death has come a sudden shock to his whole family.

"He leaves behind his mother, step-father, four sisters and two brothers. He was much loved by family and friends.

"If you have any information regarding Adam, no matter how trivial, please contact the police."

Friends have told Warwickshire Police officers they saw Adam earlier in the week, but police are still trying to establish his movements in the days prior to him being found.
