Mum mourns girl killed by the NHS cuts.

Byline: ANDY LINES

THE mum of cancer victim Nadejah Williams paid tribute to her "diamond" at her funeral yesterday after she died when crucial NHS treatment was withheld.

Michelle Campbell-Cairns told 300 mourners, including her daughter's nurses: "Nadejah had my whole heart. There is a Rihanna song 'shine like a diamond'. She was my diamond."

She also thanked the Mirror and Lib Dem MP Tessa Munt for fighting for treatment for 23-year-old Nadejah - the face of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Stylist Nadejah was refused CyberKnife treatment for colon cancer three times. When NHS bosses finally agreed funding, her tumours were too large.

Ms Munt said after the funeral in Stoke Newington, North London: "Her death should have been avoided."
