A MUM of triplets has said she was not convinced they were identical until she had DNA tests carried out.
The odds of naturally conceived, identical triplets are estimated at up to one in 200 million.
Becki-Jo Allen, 23, said: "People are always stopping us in the street, asking if they're identical. I was convinced they weren't, as that's what I'd been told during my pregnancy."
So she opted for DNA tests which revealed the children were identical.
Becki-Jo, 23, of Gateacre, Liverpool, said: "I don't get them mixed up. It's only when they're asleep they look the same to me."
She gave birth at 31 weeks to the trio, who weighed 3lb 5oz to 3lbs 10oz.
Beckie-Jo added Roman, Rocco and Rohan, now 10 months old, were "thriving".
