Mum's ill tot hoax.

A SICK mum drew blood from a baby with a syringe then sprayed it on the girl's clothes to fool doctors she was seriously ill.

Suzanne McDaid told medics the three-month tot was vomiting blood and let them carry out six operations on her.

McDaid, 23, who has Munchhausen's Syndrome by proxy, admitted reckless conduct at hospitals in Paisley and Glasgow between October 2005 and May 2006.

Neil Beardsmore, prosecuting, told Glasgow's High Court: "There was a danger to the baby's life."

McDaid will be sentenced next month.
