The MNCs have always played a fundamental role in economic uplift of any country as not only they bring much-needed foreign investment and create employment opportunities for the locals but also give message to the world that the certain country is a good destination for doing business.

Multinational is composed of two words: multi and national. So multinational is an organisation which works in more than one country or which has exposure and entry to international markets. Such organisations operate in branches, factories, workshops. They have headquarters in various countries commanded by the headquarter in the country of its origin. This headquarter is considered as the principle branch. All branches work inside the approach structure framed by the base camp.

Multinational organisations are also well-known by various names as transnational corporations, international enterprises or global enterprises.

As multinational companies operate in more than one country so this requires them to have large amount of assets and sales dispersed in different countries. These organisations create extensive wealth. Their operations are huge to the point that occasionally their business turnover surpasses the gross national product of a growing economy. With this we can envision about the force of a multinational organisation. For instance, the physical resources of IBM (globally recognised company) surpass $8 billion.

As we know that a multinational company works in more than one country, so it operates through a system of branches and backups in host nations. It offers its items in various nations, e.g. Coca Cola, Apple and so forth.

The multinationals utilise proficient specialists for their efficient operations and keep their workers upgraded by giving them training at regular intervals. The MNCs hire experts to handle development innovation successfully.

Because of their huge size, the multinational organisations possess commanding positions in the business sector .They have huge business houses, and in some cases form monopolies. Multinationals can sometimes take over other companies and merge to gain more market share and increase the sales. These organisations make use of most advanced technologies to live up the expectations of their customers in the ever changing environment. They tend to stay abreast with the market changes to the satisfaction of their consumers.
