Mowbray: We can shock some teams; ALBION NEWS.

TONY Mowbray hopes Albion's underdog spirit will produce some shock results during the coming weeks.

Albion take on Bolton today, before playing Stoke City at The Hawthorns in a fortnight's time.

But they have some tricky away games - to Portsmouth, Spurs and Manchester City - on the horizon.

He feels Albion may surprise a few clubs along the way, despite their poor away form which has seen them win just once on their travels this season.

"We weren't brilliant at West Ham on Monday but we were good enough to nick it," he said.

"The disappointment was that we didn't gain the three points because they were there for the taking.

"Yet who is to say that when we go to Tottenham and Man City they aren't below par because it is only West Brom coming.

"It is easily done as long as we are right on the day and they are a little bit below par. We can win games because we have the talent in our team.

Mowbray is well aware such form would potentially inspire another Great Escape.

"It has been mentioned and I hear the fans singing the songs," he said.

"I was in Scotland and I am a football lover so I was aware of who stayed up and who didn't."
