Movie to take on Sun queen.

The executive at the centre of the phone hacking scandal is to be the subject of a new movie.

Former News of the World boss Rebekah Brooks, 43, faces criminal charges over an alleged plot to hide evidence.

Yesterday in Cannes, BiteSize Entertainment said her story would be one of their first projects.

Producer Gene Kirkwood said: "We will make a film and also use it as a porthole into Rupert Murdoch's world. "She's got a great story. Her rise is almost like Great Expectations - with a moral."

Meanwhile, Murdoch denied claims he is to sell off his UK papers to protect the rest of News Crop from the hacking scandal.
