Motor Racing: Fast and the furious star at Oulton Park.

OULTON Park will be treated to a festival of fast and furious racing this weekend as the MG Car Club's season continues on the full-length International Circuit. MGCC races feature a variety of cars, from relatively standard machines on road-going tyres to full race-modified cars on slicks. And it's not just MG models that will be competing this weekend - Morgans, Triumphs and Lotus sports cars will all be in action.

The Lotus on Track Elise Trophy is set to be one of the highlights, as a capacity grid of Lotus Elises, Exiges and 34ORs assembles for the third round of a series which began at Brands Hatch less than two months ago. Local interest surrounds Preston's Russell Treasure, who aims to bounce back from a double retirement in the last two races at Snetterton.

Tickets for the MGCC event cost pounds 12 on the gate with children aged 12 and under admitted free. For more information visit or call 0870 950 9000.
