Motor Racing: Albers left fuming at 'risky' Ide.

Christij an Albers hit out at Yuji Ide, accusing the Super Aguri rookie of dangerous driving after he caused a violent accident at the start of the San Marino Grand Prix.

Ide's passing attempt on the first lap at Imola pitched Albers' Midland into a frightening barrel roll, with the Dutchman fortunate to escape unharmed after flipping five times.

An angry Albers claimed Ide and Super Aguri teammate Takuma Sato are not playing fair in the battle to avoid propping up the grid.

He said: "They are taking too many risks and we saw today how dangerous this can be."

Ide denied any wrongdoing, adding: "I don't think I was pushing too hard at the start.

"When I was exiting the second chicane Albers was the one on the racing line and I could not avoid contacting his car."

Race stewards examined video evidence of the accident and issued Ide with a reprimand for causing an avoidable collision.
